Back England to beat France on Saturday.
One of the great sporting events of the calendar year arrives on Saturday when England takes on "Les Bleus" at Twickenham.
France have lost to Italy and Wales which is a disaster for them whilst England have beaten Scotland and Ireland on their way to what I am convinced will be a Grand Slam victory.
The problem for France is that they don't protect their players during the six nations tournament and if anyone was in any doubt about the merits of resting players before and during major tournaments then England have the blueprint to follow.
Whilst the French players toil in their weekly league the English are well prepared and rested with the elite player agreement. This is a model that the FA should have a look at more closely.
I'm backing England to crush France on Saturday even though the French have had a week's rest from the rigours of their weekly league but I see Lancaster's men going from strength to strength and they are becoming a formidable side to play against.
The win against Ireland proved that they have the steel required to see out games with a slender lead and with home advantage, a patriotic English crowd and a French side that is struggling with fitness, England will win this game.
The FA could also take a leaf out of the 70% rule that England have started to benefit from greatly. Introduced in 2007 this system financially rewards clubs who achieve a squad depth of over 14 English players from the 22. This means that key roles like fly half have more players playing in that position and therefore the talent pool becomes a lot deeper.
By contrast the French are suffering from an influx of foreign players and that is why their bench will be relatively weaker than England's.
If England can hold the French in the first half they will reap the rewards in the last third of the game as the French tire and superior replacements seize control of the game.
Looking at the odds England are 1/3 which is a bit short and as I don't see the French winning a draw at 25/1 is the bet to get on.
