Wales make three changes for tonights six nations clash against France and Lock Luke Charteris will miss the game because of a knee injury and his loss will be a massive blow to Wales given his huge contribution against Ireland and Scotland in this years competition.
France also have problems to solve with Teddy Thomas and Marvin O'connor both out injured to go with Huget, Benjamin Fall and Remy Grosso.
Champions Leeds Rhinos kick off the new 2016 Rugby Super League season at home to Warrington Wolves on 4th February.
Leeds have their fair share of problems with the recent flooding of their training facilities meaning they have had to train across the city since the river Aire burst its banks. It looks like the club are facing a £1m bill for flood damage that could keep them out of their regular training facilities for a further 12 months.
80 members of staff and 120 players have been kept out of the premises for the past month after the whole site was submerged under water. All of the pitches have had to be dug up and reseeded.
England v Wales Rugby Betting Tips 26-09-2015
I haven't met a woman yet who understands the football offside rule AND understands the rules surrounding scrums, rucks and mauls.
Then again I haven't met a man who comprehensively understands the egg chasing rules!
Rugby Union rules seem to choke the very life out of the game. Particularly the scrum which really needs looking at because losing five, ten or even fifteen minutes per game whilst we watch the referee trying to choreograph a Baboons tea party is completely ridiculous.
Football could take it's cue from rugby though in miking up the referee and using a sin bin but let's face it controlling public school educated rugby players is a damn site easier than refereeing those brought up on the streets of Brixton.
New Zealand v Argentina Rugby Betting Tips 20-09-2015 Red hot tournament favorites the All Blacks take on Argentina in this Pool C clash which sees New Zealand begin the defence of their World Cup Title. New Zealand are overwhelming favorites to win this competition but dare I say it I don't think they should be such outright short odds. Having won 43 of their last 47 games the price has been driven down to 5/4 to win the tournament but they lost to Australia in the Rugby World Championship final and they are not infallible. The big question is how can a country with a population of 4.5 million people be the world's strongest team in the most physical team sport on the planet? Americans look away now because all that padded nonsense that passes for football doesn't count. ...
England v Fiji Rugby World Cup 18-09-2015
I've never been a fan of watering down competitions by letting also rans into them but clearly they make sense financially so this format will continue to expand and pervade into more and more sports.
The Champions League has set the precedent for this and like the cricket World Cup, watching teams who are several rungs on the ladder below the top tier struggle manfully against the main opposition is just a sideshow to the main event.
Let's not put a dampener on what will be a cracking competition once we get past the cannon fodder though and England have a good chance of winning it outright with home support.
England v Ireland International Rugby Union
Saturday's final world cup warm up game see both sides name nearly full strength sides as the juggling stops and we get down to the serious business of picking a winning team.
England have performed averagely in their preparations for this tournament and I'm surprised that they have omitted Danny Cipriani from the squad who injected some real pace and flair into the game against France.
Twickenham will be a sell out for what is going to be a bruising encounter as players from both teams fight to keep their places for when the tournament begins in earnest. This is only a friendly in name.
After a horrible four-game winless streak which has seen much of our July profit eaten into we really need to try and get back into winning ways and tonights rugby super league game on sky sports two at 8 PM is the ideal betting opportunity.
Warren Gatland’s controversial decision to exclude Brian O Driscoll from the starting 15 has not met with universal approval from many ex-Lions players.
In fact it would be fair to say that the manager’s judgement is being brought directly under the microscope.
Both matches so far have been very even games with Australia possibly shading the first game even though they managed to miss two penalties to win the game in the dying minutes and the Lions deserving to win the second game again missing a long penalty in the last minute.
Injuries have so far blighted this tour and only four players remain from the team that started the second Saturday game. In addition to that this test line up has not started a game together so there is a lot of work to be done on the practice pitch.
Back England to beat France on Saturday.
One of the great sporting events of the calendar year arrives on Saturday when England takes on "Les Bleus" at Twickenham.
France have lost to Italy and Wales which is a disaster for them whilst England have beaten Scotland and Ireland on their way to what I am convinced will be a Grand Slam victory.
The problem for France is that they don't protect their players during the six nations tournament and if anyone was in any doubt about the merits of resting players before and during major tournaments then England have the blueprint to follow.
