Formula 1 returns this weekend after a two-week break and it is set to be another thrilling weekend of racing. This time out, it is over to Asia and all eyes will be on who can come out on top in the Singapore Grand Prix as the fight for top spot in the Drivers Championship starts to hot up.
This is one of the most spectaculor races on the circuit as of course it takes place at night and really is something special. It is one that everyone competing in would love to win.
Fernando Alonso leads the way at the moment and before the mid-season break in August, it looked as though his lead would be very tough to close down. However, two wins from three for British driver Lewis Hamilton have seen him move to within 37 points of the Spaniard.
Then there is just one point between Hamilton and third placed Kimi Raikkonen and just one more behind that is current champion Sebastian Vettel. This makes this Grand Prix in Singapore all the more exciting as a victory can be huge for any one of these drivers.
Don't rule out the likes of Mark Webber or Jenson Button either – they sit in fifth and sixth place respectively. Webber is only a little way behind the chasing pack, but Button is likely to need an incredible run of form to challenge for the title.
There have only been four Grand Prix held on this track, and in that time we have seen three winners, with Alonso being the man to finish on top of the podium twice. Vettel won here last time out, with Lewis Hamilton tasting victory in 2009.
At this stage of the season, each and every point becomes all the more valuable for your ambitions for the campaign.
Hamilton is the in-form man at the moment and another victory would show he is ready push Alonso all the way in this thrilling Drivers Championship.
These two rivals have both won three races this season, but it has been the inconsistency of the British driver that sees him behind Alonso at the moment.
Victory for any of this top six would give them the confidence to go all the way – and would boost their teams chances of picking up the Constructers Championship title, which Red Bull – Renault currently lead the way in.
It is all set for another fantastic weekend of Formula 1 action, make sure you don't miss a moment.
