Tottenham V Liverpool Match Preview & Betting Tips
Jurgen Klopp has ignited the feelgood factor for Red's fans everywhere, managing to charm the media and opposition supporters into the bargain with a succession of press conferences that had everyone hanging on his every last word.
After being photographed in the bars and restaraunts in the Liverpool city centre Klopp has called time on the photo shoots and declared that he is only happy to do the work behind closed doors.
Player injuries have not been kind to the new manager and three players have returned from the International break with injuries.
Both Gomez and Ings will be out for the rest of the season with ACL (cruciate ligament) injuries and Jordan Rossiter has picked up a hamstring injury after playing for England Under 21's.
Those injuries can be added to Benteke (hamstring) Henderson (foot) Lovren (ankle) and Firminho (back) so seven players in total as well as long term victim Flannagan who hopes to return to first team action in January.
Sturridge is likely to start this game up front with support from Lallana, Milner and Coutinho. Can and Lucas covering the defence with Moreno, Sakho, Skrtel and Clyne bringing up the rearguard and Mignolet in goal.
The only chance that Klopp has had to work with the squad will have been trying to fix the leaky bucket defence and it will be a massive step forward if Liverpool can keep a clean sheet in this game.
Tottenham are well organised and with a victory over Manchester City in the bag they will be looking to get three points from this game.
I'm going for the draw 2-2 in what is likely to be a very entertaining first game with Klopp at the helm.
