Malaysia XI v Liverpool Football Betting Tips

Three wins out of three for the Reds on their pre season friendly tour of the far east and Australia will have Brendan Rodgers in much higher spirits than when he finished the Premier League campaign with the dismal 6-1 defeat to Stoke.

So far on this tour Liverpool have beaten Thai All Stars, Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United and will be looking to make it four wins out of four with this final game against a Malaysia XI.

The opposition on Friday will be severely weakened as this game lands smack bang in the middle of the Malaysian domestic season and we all know the power that league clubs have over their star players.

Three players from Selangro will be missing after having failed to report for training whilst another four players from Pahang and Police FA will also be out of the reckoning. So seven star players missing for the hosts.

Brendan Rodgers is faced with some selection decisions for this game as his squad begins to take shape and that's a nice problem to have.

Simon Mignolet looks like holding down his place in goal after the arrival of Bogdan and Nathaniel Clyne looks nailed on to be the consistent starter at left back.

On the right Joe Gomez has impressed on this tour and the question for the defence is who is going to partner Skrtel after both Lovren and Sakho have been impressive so far.

In midfield Henderson and Lallana are likely to start with the Reds most impressive performer – James Milner almost certainly guaranteed a starting berth.

Also likely to start is Jordan Ibe who has had an excellent tour and will be looking to step into Raheem Sterling's shoes this season. It will be a massive bonus if the pacey and muscular winger can make the step up and hold down a regular first team place in the coming season.

With so many absentees for the hosts it looks like Liverpool will be far too strong and will win this game easily.

Liverpool to win 3-0 is 6/1 at Skybet. £10 returns £70.
