Leicester V Aston Villa Football Betting Tips 13-09-2015 4PM
Two teams that were heading for the Championship at the back end of last season both escaped after Leicester finally started to get the rub of the green and Aston Villa parted ways with Paul Lambert who had perversely persisted with his extreme youth policy and alienated some of the senior players.
Leicester have since changed manager as well opting for the “Tinkerman” Claudio Ranieri to keep them in the Premiership whilst Tim Sherwood seems to be finding his feet at Villa.
Of the two teams Leicester would be the one whose form should be the least surprising after racking up a series of wins at the back end of last season and so far this season they remain unbeaten with two wins and two draws. They currently sit third in the table after four games.
Villa are 12th with one solitary win, a draw and two defeats to make up a mixed bag of results.
The head to head record at the Foxes ground reads 24 wins for Leicester, 8 for Aston Villa and 12 draws. 100 goals for Leicester City and 61 for the Villains.
Historically this fixture has been settled by a solitary goal and I'm going to back the home team to continue their good run of results and win again by that margin.
