Chelsea FC march on to Italy for the fifth of their Champions League campaign hoping that a draw will be good enough to see them through to the knockout stages of the competition.
After beating Shakhtar Donesk with a last gasp Victor Moses winner and winning the game 3-2 Chelsea now have their destiny in their own hands and can enjoy the Christmas period with a draw here and beating the Danish small fry Nordsjaelland in their final game at home.
I'm sure Chelsea will not be settling for a draw in this game though because that is not really their style and with Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Torres to call on they have a fearsome strikeforce of which nearly every European club would be envious.
The interesting promotion for this game comes from Ladbrokes:
If Fernando Torres scores the 1st or last goal in the game, we'll refund losing First Goalscorer bets as a free bet.
So on the basis that Fernando Torres actually finds himself on the pitch tonight we should be looking at probably Mata or Hazard to be the first Chelsea goalscorers on the night.
The chances are though that Torres will be relegated to the bench after a woeful display against West Bromwich on Saturday and if I was the manager I think I'd be pulling my hair out and wondering what on earth is going through the Spaniards' head when he takes to the pitch these days.
Although Chelsea will settle for a draw they would of course like a win to ease the pressure and so this is going to be a closely fought contest with both teams going for the win.
