Crystal Palace v Arsenal Football Betting Tips
Crystal Palace have had their fortunes revived since Alan Pardew took over as manager and they look a much tougher proposition these days especially with the signing of Yohan Cabaye who scored on his debut last weekend against Norwich. I can't be the only one to remember a certain Ian Wright playing for Palace?
Norwich had chances aplenty to certainly gain a point from that game and they will be disappointed to have lost by the 3-1 margin but it is a testament to the resilience and hard work that this Crystal Palace side are prepared to put in.
By contrast Arsenal had a woeful season opener against West Ham losing 2-0 and in goal Petr Cech was at fault for conceding both goals. Is his star on the wane or is it simply a lack of match practice.
This defeat though and Cech's errors should not mask over the fact that the Gunners had over 22 shots on goal and were the better team even though the final scoreline says differently. It was just one of those days at the office for Arsenal.
These days it seems like Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck are destined to forever be injured and neither will be available for this match but Alexis Sanchez will start after being given extra time off for his stint in the Copa America.
After beating Chelsea in the community shield and playing some wonderful football I don't see them having another afternoon where the Gods are completely against them and I'm backing them to win away at Crystal Palace.
Palace have only beaten Arsenal three times in their history whilst the Gunners have not lost the opening two games of a league season in 23 years.
