Kick Off: 3PM Saturday 12th January 2013
Aston Villa have no fewer than nine players out injured which goes a long way to explaining how they have managed to leak nineteen goals in their last four games.
Paul Lambert will be hoping that the 8-0 mauling at the hands of Chelsea is the nadir of Villa's season and they can start to improve as the players slowly climb off the treatment table, the 2-2 draw away at Swansea is a good starting point.
Southampton were really very good against Arsenal and can count themselves unlucky not to have picked up all three points. An unlucky deflection for the Arsenal goal gifting the visitors a share of the spoils.
Whilst neither of these teams will want to admit it this is looking like the fabled six pointer and with both teams desperately needing the points to try and drag themselves away from the bottom of the table I'm going to plump for the draw - 3.3 at bet365.
