Arsenal v Liverpool Football Betting Tips 8PM 24-08-2015
Liverpool will arrive at the Emirates tomorrow knowing that they have won just once here in the last fifteen years.
Arsenal will be intent on extending that record and the inclusion of Alexis Sanchez in the team makes Arsenal a completely different proposition to the one that succumbed to West Ham on the opening day of the season.
Wilshere is suspended for this game and Arsenal will continue with Giroud in attack. Walcott having fallen down the pecking order and Welbeck is out injured.
Liverpool will be starting with five new players in the team after a busy summer spending spree and they have upgraded every position that they have bought for. This game comes too early though for Daniel Sturridge who is expected to return in the Manchester United fixture next month after recovering from a series of injuries.
At least Liverpool will go into this game with a recognisable striker which is a luxury they haven't been able to afford recently. Or a striker worthy of the name anyway. Christian Benteke brings a much needed physical presence to the forward line that has skill in abundance but is lightweight in make up.
Arsenal Wins 44, Draws 32, Liverpool Wins 21
I'm expecting Lallana to lose his place to Firminho after a series of hard working but ineffectual displays and Coutinho and Ibe will support Benteke in the search for counter attack goals.
Henderson is a doubt for the Reds after suffering a foot injury but with Gerrard now departed and Joe Allen injured starting the inexperienced Can with Milner is going to be a gamble. It would surely be more prudent to start the hugely experienced Lucas in midfield.
