The best attacking lineup I have ever seen in my lifetime rolls into town tonight and it is Arsenal's misfortune to be drawn against Barcelona in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
One third of the trio so very nearly catapulted Liverpool to their first Premier league title back in 2013 and since then Luis Suarez has been feeding himself regulalry and become an even better player.
Messi and Neymar make up the trio of goalscorers and after a record breaking run of 32 games without defeat it's hard to look past Barcelona as winners of the tie both home and away.
However, the Catalans have remarkably conceded in their last eight matches and it is their goal scoring exploits that mask a defensive frailty. Arsenal have a good chance of scoring tonight. They have also conceded in 9/10 away games in the Champions league knockout rounds so if Arsenal do fail to find the net it will be bucking the trend.
Arsenal are defensively a much better unit than their early season counterparts and I don't expect Barcelona to find it easy at all to find a way past them. The question is can Arsenal find enough ball possession to keep them at arms length for the duration?
Everyone is expecting Barcelona to rack up a hatful of goals but I'm not seeing it that way. A 1-1 draw or even a 1-2 away win look the most likely scorecasts.
Arsenal are the only team alongside Real Madrid to reach the last sixteen of the competition every year since 2003 but they have been knocked out at this stage in the last five seasons so it's going to be a mammoth task stopping that becoming six.
Barcelona have won fifteen of their last nineteen Champions league ties and Arsenal have scored in their last thirteen consecutive games.
I'm really torn between the 1-1 draw and the 1-2 away win.
