Weekend Football Accumulator WE 8/09/2012

TR Updated
Football Accumulator

Although there is break in domestic football this weekend, that does not mean that you need to take a break from placing an accumulator as there is plenty of international action taking place.

If we take a quick look at last week and how my tips went last week. The key is to make it quick as well. In the first one, which was more risky, I got three results correct out of six.

Then, for the more 'sure thing' if there is such a thing, it was 50% again with two games that ended as draws letting me down. Onto the next one!

Right, now is the time to look forward and to the week ahead. International matches can be strange ones, especially in qualifiers as you often have huge favourites that don't have the best value.

However, there is always a chance of one of the big teams dropping points and if you pick the right match, your winnings could be huge.

England are of course in action and I fully expect them to put on a professional display in Moldova and take all three points, hence why they are part of this six fold accumulator.

Georgia v Belarus – Belarus @ 7/4

Montenegro v Poland – Poland @ 9/4

Netherlands v Turkey – Draw @ 17/5

Moldova v England – England @ 3/10

Wales v Belgium – Belgium @ 20/23

Scotland v Serbia – Serbia @ 19/10

A £2 stake on this one would return £544.47 so would certainly be a weekend to remember if it does come in.

There are of course a couple of risks in this one, but if you want to win the big money then that is what you need to do. Many of you I am sure are looking at Netherlands v Turkey – which I have put as a draw. A risk yes, but Holland have lost four games in a row, are under new management and will be feeling the pressure going into this one.

The others all look to be results you would maybe expect. I actually watched Belarus in the Olympic Games and they really gave Brazil a scare. If they go with the youngsters that competed in that, then I fully expect them to take all three points.

For a second bet this week I am going to dive into the goals galore market. For those who are not sure what this is, it is very simple. All you do is bet on a number of games, as you would with an accumulator, but instead of betting on the result, you are backing both teams to score.

The great thing about this is that your selected match could be 5-0 to a certain side, but the bet is still very much alive as you only need the other team to grab a goal back, then you can cross that game off.

Also, once both teams have scored – that is it. You don't have to worry about what goes on after that.

So, I am going for six matches where both sides will score.

Wales v Belgium

Finland v France

Slovenia v Switzerland

Iceland v Norway

Denmark v Czech Republic

Latvia v Greece

A £2 stake in this one will return £58, so will give you some money to play with in the upcoming weeks.

In this one I have gone for either teams that look to be evenly matched, or where the away side is the favourite as it is always good to back the home side to score.

Accumulator Tip #3 – Take a look at the away teams. They are always better value for the win and will be where you win your big money. Don't go for lots of home bankers as one is always sure to let you down!
