Well doesn’t this come round quick – it is weekend accumulator time again. Last weekend was one to forget in the end as my two bets were not really close to coming in.
However, that is just the way football betting goes and this time out I will be going back to the drawing board and looking to win some money again.
On a Saturday afternoon, what is better to do that place a few bets and watch those results come in? So, let’s do that this weekend and when taking a look at the fixtures – I can see there is some money to be won out there.
My four-fold home banker bet’s have often been let down by one team, so what I am going to do this time out is place a three-fold with a slightly higher stake to give me a similar return. Of course, there is no point betting on clear favourites for this one as your profit would simply not be worth it.
So here are the three teams that need to claim all three points across three different leagues. That is the end of the threes, I promise.
Three Home Bankers
West Brom v Stoke City – West Brom @ 21/20
Bolton Wanderers v Ipswich Town – Bolton Wanderers @ 4/6
Rochdale v York City – Rochdale @ 6/5
What I like the look of here is sticking £7 on for a hand return of £52.62, which would be a nice bit of cash to go in the betting kitty for the next few weeks.
West Brom have shown they have a lot of charcheter this campaign and I expect them bounce back against a Stoke side that don’t travel well.
Also, Bolton won for the first time in four during midweek, so I can see them going on a good run and Rochdale are a very strong side on their own soil. Don’t let me down, lads!
Right, now I am going for a four-fold to win some big money. It is going to be on four home teams, but the outsiders. Any team always has a chance on their own soil and with the FA Cup second round taking place, expect a few surprises.
Four FA Cup Winners
Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur – Fulham @ 15/8
Peterborough United v Blackpool – Peterborough @ 2/1
Oldham v Doncaster Rover – Oldham @ 15/8
Rotherham v Notts County – Rotherham @ 6/4
A £5 bet on this one will return a fantastic £256.05, so it would give you an afternoon to remember. Are they all a slight risk? Yes. But the chances of the four of them winning is greater than putting a 12-fold on home bankers.
Let’s hope for a weekend full of profit. Remember the stakes I am putting on is just a tip. If you really like the look of some of these and want to put £10 on it or so, then go for it. On the other hand, it might be worth sticking £1 if you think it is a big risk.
The early kick-off is between West Ham and Chelsea and I feel like doing a bet for this one. I actually think West Ham might win as things are not good at Chelsea right now. We all know that Big Sam Allardyce LOVES a set-piece, so James Collins to score and the Hammers to win at 33/1 might be work a pound or two.
Good luck this weekend and let us at GYBO know how you got on with your bets.
Accumulator Tip #15 – when having a bet on the cup matches, don’t forget that unless stated, your bet is valid for the result at the end of 90 minutes! Unless you have called a draw, your bet has lost as soon as a game enters extra time!
