Weekend Football Accumulator WE 27/10/12

TR Updated
Football Accumulator

Yet another superb weekend of domestic football takes place over Saturday and Sunday and as ever, there is some money to be won.

Last week’s accumulator for big money was very close to coming in, but just a couple of results let me down. However, once again I had a good week in the Champions League and made a £42.50 profit. It involved backing a couple of outsiders, including Borussia Dortmund and Ajax, as well as a couple of home bankers – Manchester United and Barcelona, although Barca nearly cost me!

So I am feeling confident of picking a few winners for this weekend and I think it is all about the lower leagues on Saturday and the Premier League on Sunday.

So for this weekend – there is a Saturday and Sunday tip for you to have a look at.

The first one is going for some big money across The Championship, League One and League Two and this is going to be a both teams to score bet with three games from each league.

Both Teams To Score

Ipswich v Sheffield Wednesday

Leeds v Birmingham

Millwall v Huddersfield

Carlisle v Bournemouth

Scunthorpe v MK Dons

Stevenage v Swindon

Rochdale v Fleetwood

Southend v York

Torquay v Morecambe

Put £3 on this one and you are looking at a return of £241 – so it would be a superb afternoon.

If you look at these nine matches, they are all game where either the away side looks to be the stronger, or the home team are short of a bit of confidence.

I always think it is good to bet on strong away sides in a BTTS accumulator as you do often expect a home side to find the net – I do really like the look of this one.

Then we head into Sunday’s action – where the Premier League really does take centre stage with some superb looking matches taking place.

This is going to be a four-fold on the games in the English top flight.

Everton v Liverpool – Draw @ 23/10

Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur – Tottenham Hotspur @ 5/6

Newcastle United v West Bromwich Albion – Newcastle United @ Evens

Chelsea v Manchester United – Draw @ 23/10

A couple of draws in this one that really add value to the bet and £1 will return a handy £39.35.

The two games I have picked to end in a stalemate are the two big ones of the afternoon. Although Everton look to be a much stronger side this year, they do not beat Liverpool very often and the Reds will raise their game in this one.

Also, Manchester United have a habit of picking up results just when they need to and when they head to Chelsea, there could be a number of goals – but it will end in a draw.

Elsewhere, I expect Tottenham and Newcastle to win comfortably.

Good luck for your bets this weekend and keep letting us at GYBO know how you have got on!

Accumulator Tip #9 – Take a look at head-to-head records, they can play a big factor in the game and can favour the outsider for that extra bit of value!
