Well here we go again! It is weekend accumulator time – so let’s find some winners as I know they are out there somewhere.
Crawley Town were the only team to cost me over £40 last weekend, so they have gone down on my list of teams not to bet on. Maybe one day - I will forgive them. It is fair to say that last Saturday saw a number of surprise results and unless you were backing the big outsiders – it would have been a day where the bookies cleaned up once more.
So as we move into another round of fixtures and not much is going to change in the way I go about my betting as I am so close to that winner. It is all about that four home bankers bet to start with this weekend and putting a decent stake on to return some handy cash.
So here goes…
Four Home Bankers
Blackpool v Watford – Blackpool @ 21/20
Middlesbrough v Bristol City – Middlesbrough @ 3/5
Coventry City v Portsmouth – Coventry City @ 5/6
MK Dons v Colchester United – MK Dons @ 8/13
Stick £5 on this one and you will receive a return of £48.55, doesn’t look bad does it? Usually there is a risk somewhere in these bets – but all of these four look as though they are strong enough to come out on top.
Blackpool may not be on the best run, but Michael Appleton can turn things around there and home form will be key for them. As for the other three, all look in good shape and should take all three points. Easy money? Let’s hope so.
Time now to try and make some big money and I am backing five matches to end in a draw for a massive return.
As I have mentioned before – there is always cracking value on draws and sometimes it is the way to go – so here are those five encounters to end in a stalemate.
Five Bore Draws
Stoke City v Fulham @ 23/10
Wigan Athletic v Reading @ 12/5
Brighton & Hove Albion v Bolton Wanderers @ 5/2
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Nottingham [email protected] 12/5
Leyton Orient v Preston North End @ 12/5
Put £2 on this one and you are looking and a huge win of £1014.22 – has to be worth a punt doesn’t it?
All these teams look fairly evenly matched, or the away side are the ones in better form. Some people don’t like seeing draws – but I bet you wouldn’t mind if these five came in.
Let’s hope there is a winner this weekend. If you remember, I predicted Arsenal to beat Tottenham 4-2 last week at a massive 40/1. Theo Walcott, you can go onto my list along with Crawley for that 90th minute fifth goal.
Chelsea v Manchester City is the big game this weekend. Rafael Benitez will come under big pressure and might lose his job with a defeat, right?!
However, for this one I am backing City’s Sergio Aguero to score two goals or more at 10/1.
Best of luck this weekend and let us at GYBO know how you got on!
