Domestic football is back this weekend after what feels like a very long international break. As always, there are some cracking looking fixtures on show and we will of course be looking to win some money.
Friday evening’s international accumulators never got too close if we are honest and it was always going to be tough with big risks needed to make any sort of notable profit.
So we head back into the domestic matches this time out and I am looking forward to seeing what the weekend has in store. I don’t think I have ever been watching the scores come in on a Saturday afternoon and not been entertained from all four of the top divisions.
That is why my first best for Saturday is going to involve a team from the Premier League, The Championship, League One and League Two.
It is going to be a four-fold accumulator, so it is all about looking at where the value is at.
Nottingham Forest v Cardiff City – Cardiff City @ 11/5
Swindon Town v Scunthorpe United – Swindon Town @ 8/11
Aldershot v Rotherham United – Rotherham United @ 6/5
Four away wins here and a £1 stake will see a return of 55.93, so a decent bit of cash if this does come in.
The good thing about only placing a four-fold is that you are not relying on a great deal of results and it can very quickly turn from a losing to a winning bet.
If we break it down a bit, Villa winning at Fulham is a big shout I know, but one thing about Paul Lambert is that he does produce a result just when he needs one and the international break could have done the Villains some good.
Elsewhere, Cardiff, Swindon and Rotherham are all in good form and look set to get their momentum going again after the break.
I have mixed things up a bit in my bet for big money over recent weeks, but this time out I am going back to basics and placing an eight-fold accumulator that is predicting teams to win.
The top two divisions is what I will look at here as there are some superb games on show.
Manchester United v Stoke City – Manchester United @ 3/10
West Bromwich Albion v Manchester City – Manchester City @7/10
West Ham United v Southampton – Southampton @ 20/23
Bolton Wanderers v Bristol City – Bolton Wanderers @ 7/10
Brighton and Hove Albion v Middlesbrough – Brighton and Hove Albion @ 3/4
Crystal Palace v Millwall – Crystal Palace @ 23/20
Derby County v Blackburn Rovers – Blackburn Rovers @ 21/10
Hull City v Ipswich Town – Hull City @ 9/10
For this one I like the look of putting £2 on for £308.98 return.
The three Premier League matches here are certainly results that you would expect to come in. As for the Championship games, four home wins are a good bet, along with Blackburn finding some form away from home.
Good luck for this weekend.
