Update: Place this acca today (23/08/2013) and return £1,291.60

What is interesting about last weeks results for this accumulator is that from our final selection of ten games we omitted two - Sunderland v Fulham  and Millwall v Huddersfield and both games ended up as losers. There definitely some method to be added here.

We only won two games this week but equally we only lost one which is the key indicator for me and it is just a matter of time until this accumulator is a winner. Incidentally for those of you who placed this acca you will know that I made a horrendous error by including the Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday game which kicked off early and ended in a draw - thus spoiling the rest of the afternoons entertainment. Always check that the games you have in your accumulator kick off at the same time!

Here are last weeks results:

Leeds United 1 Sheffield Wednesday 1
Middlesbrough 1 v Blackpool 1
Nottingham Forest 3 Bolton 0
Crawley Town 1 Rotherham 2
York 0 Hartlepool 0
Newport County 1 Bristol Rovers 0
Alfreton 0 Salisbury 0
Chester 0 Woking 0

Week One Results: W4 D2

Week Two Results: W5 D2 L1

WeekThree Results W2 D5 L1

To add more games we can either add the fraction 1/1 or 11/8 which are either side of our range - or both! This week I am going to add both and lets see how many games we end up with to pick from.

Here are this weeks games in this odds range. We are using 1/1, 21/20, 11/10, 6/5, 5/4 and 11/8.

There are fifteen games to choose from which gives us a little leeway to filter out any rubbish and looks like a decent amount of games.

Here are our games:

Newcastle v West Ham
Sheffield Wednesday v Millwall
Brighton v Burnley
Huddersfileld v Bournemouth
Blackburn v Barnsley
MK Dons v Bristol City
Notts County v Stevenage
Chesterfield v Southend
Plymouth v Rochdale
Dagenham v Newport
Bristol Rovers v York
Burton v Bury
Woking v Welling
Southport v Gateshead
Forest Green v Luton
Motherwell v Partick

So with fifteen games to choose from this week we need to eliminate seven to get to our eight fold.

If you saw the way Newcastle played last night against Man City you wouldn't be betting on them to beat West Ham. City were good but Newcastle were poor so I'm ruling that game out for starters.

Millwall are bottom of the Championship so that game is a keeper. Brighton v Burnley looks close so lets lose that one. Bournemouth have a -3 goal difference so that is a keeper as well.

Blackburn v Barnsley sees third from bottom play second from bottom - let's keep that for a home win. MK Dons looks good - that's a keeper.

Stevenage were playing in the conference not long ago against Telford so lets keep that game. Chesterfield v Southend 2nd v 3rd is too close so lets lose that game.

Actually - there is just too much to choose from here. It makes it too complicated. Let's eliminate the 1/1 odds as they are confusing the issue.

That's better - with nine games to choose from we can eliminate the Newcastle game and we are left with:

Brighton v Burnley
Blackburn v Barnsley
Notts County v Stevenage
Southport v Gateshead
Forest Green v Luton
Bristol Rovers v York
Huddersfileld v Bournemouth
Plymouth v Rochdale

£2 returns £959.73.
