Betting Summary

Date Placed
August 28, 2013
Expires
August 31, 2013

There was a good sweat on Saturday as we willed on two teams to score in the last ten minutes of our football accumulator and give us an early Christmas present.

It wasn't to be though and Notts County let in a last minute goal to leave us still looking for our first clean sheet of the season.

Six home winners from eight is a promising return and we have definitely found an accumulator to keep.

Here are last weeks results:

Brighton 2 Burnley 0
Blackburn 5 Barnsley 2
Notts County 0 Stevenage 1
Southport 2 Gateshead 1
Forest Green 0 v Luton 0
Bristol Rovers 3 York 2
Huddersfileld 5 Bournemouth 1
Plymouth 1 Rochdale 0

Week One Results: W4 D2
Week Two Results: W5 D2 L1
WeekThree Results W2 D5 L1
Week Four results W6 D1 L1

So no tinkering this week as we pretty much have our formula for this accumulator nailed down and the teams pick themselves.

We are using odds of 21/20, 11/10, 6/5, 5/4 and 11/8.

There are fifteen games to choose from again this week so conveniently I have omitted the Scottish league games which leaves us with a nice eight games for our accumulator.

Here are our games:

Newcastle v Fulham
Sheffiled United v MK Dons
Scunthorpe v Newport County
Exeter v York
Macclesfiled v Braintree
Colwyn Bay v Leamington
Hednesford v Barrow
Harrogate v Stockport

£2 returns 1,011.98

Odds change so your return may differ slightly depending on which day you place the acca.

The only game I would like to remove is Newcastle v Fulham -  everyone knows that Fulham have the highest percentage of away draws in the Premier league -  but I think if you start removing games based on emotion then it defeats the object of trying to pick an accumualtor based purely on the odds.

Anyway - it's a hell of a journey all the way up north for Fulham and their fans - best of luck with that!
