Only Exeter let me down last weekend, which was annoying as it would have been a decent £52 that I would have made.
There is only one thing to do after a disappointing day of football betting tips though, take a look at the next round of fixtures and go again. Let's just avoid Exeter this weekend!
First up, I am going to go for a draw double, which has served me well in the past. As you all know by now, a draw always offers good value, even when it is between two evenly matched sides.
This time out, I am going for one game in the Premier League and one in the Championship to end in a stalemate.
So, here it is:
Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers – Draw @ 13/5
Charlton Athletic v Birmingham City – Draw @ 5/2
If you put £5 on this one, you are looking at a return of £63.00, odds that I couldn't ignore on a double.
Queens Park Rangers have been the draw specialists in recent weeks and with Swansea possibly having one eye on the Capital One Cup final later in the month, a draw looks to be the best bet here.
Then, Charlton have hit a little slump in form and Birmingham have gone on a decent run, so both sides might take the point at the Valley.
It looks good to me, so let's hope for a couple of draws, even if they are goalless and rubbish to watch!
Right, for a bet that is going to bring in big money, it am going for a treble of shock results.
When looking at the fixtures this weekend, I think this is the way to go.
Sunderland v Arsenal – Sunderland @ 16/5
Middlesbrough v Barnsley – Barnsley @ 16/5
Leyton Orient v Tranmere Rovers – Tranmere Rovers @ 17/10
I like the look of £10 on this one as it would give you winnings of £476.58.
Although it is of course going to take an upset for this to come in – it does look as though it can be a winner.
Sunderland have a habit for getting results against some big teams on home soil and you just never know what Arsenal side is going to turn up.
Then, Middlesbrough have lost four in a row and Barnsley are on a decent run, so I can see an away win here.
Finally, Tranmere look like very good value for a team of their quality.
The Super Sunday fixture this weekend sees Manchester United take on Everton and I think backing a 3-2 win for the Red Devils looks to be a good bet at 25/1.
Best of luck with your bets on Saturday and Sunday – keep letting us know how you got on. We want to see plenty of winners!
