Lancashire are on a hot streak having won their last three games whilst even if they win their last three games Yorkshire may still fail to qualify for the last eight.
After crashing at Headingley and losing by 25 runs on Sunday Yorkshire are left with not much to salvage but pride from their remaining games.
Of course this match has been dubbed the War of the Roses in a long line of traditional matchups between these two sides and Lancashire are the odds on favourites at 4 to 6.
Betting on the favourite though doesn't mean we are going to win so does it? As we have had a streak of games where the underdog has been the winner.
Let's back the home side and hope that the team packed with star players can turn a profit for us.
Incidentally I just checked out ticket prices for this game and was astounded to see that a family match pack two adults and two children costs a whopping £72 almost a 50% premium over last nights game.
Tickets are still available though so if you fancy going to watch a friends life T20 game in the flesh rather than watching on sky sports two this should be a cracking game.
I'm backing Lancashire Lightning at 4/6 to win this game.
