Known for it's fun approach to betting Paddy Power offers odds on many markets not found elsewhere.
Founded in 1988 by the merger of three Irish bookmakers Paddy Power has gone from strength to strength and now operates over 190 High street outlets throughout the UK.
The firm has consistently been criticised for it's sometimes outlandish approach to betting markets and has repeatedly fallen foul of the authorities for advertisements that have been considered tasteless to put it mildly.
The bookmaker is known for offering odds on controversial markets in order to garner publicity, for example in November 2008, 16–1 was laid that U.S. President Barack Obama 'would not finish' his first term (this was widely interpreted as his odds of assassination).
This bookmaker is very strong on both Horse Racing and Football and is aimed fairly and squarely at the UK and Irish gambling markets. There are always plenty of special offers and enhanced betting opportunities so it is a good place for UK sports betting enthusists.
Paddy Power has its own betting App for mobile users and unlike some other Apps which can be difficult and confusing to use this one is actually rather good and one of the best I have seen.
