However with Norwich making the trip to Arsenal on Saturday and then entertaining Manchester United the following weekend things look bleak for Delia and a point or better against Liverpool will mean guaranteed Premiership status for another season.

The highlight of the game against Villarreal on Thursday was watching Klopp animatedly berate a clueless Jordan Ibe who had strayed offside when receiving a pass back from a throw in.

A schoolboy error that ceded possession needlessly and is symptomatic of players who are not switched on enough. This manager will not let players coast through games or mentally switch off and Ibe is headed for the door marked EXIT this summer.

Against Swansea Liverpool will rest key players and I'm expecting a dull encounter with Sturridge being mothballed and Benteke playing as the target man for the Liverpool youngsters to try and hit from midfield.

Apathy? What do you expect when ridiculous TV scheduling means that Liverpool fans will have to be up bright and early on a Sunday morning to make the 12PM kick off.

This is a problem that is only going to get worse as satellite broadcasters try and wring out every drop of value from their Premier League broadcasting rights.
