Football Accumulator - WE 19/1/13
Joe Rooney   January 17, 2013
Just got back from the hospital cafe where they asked me if I wanted anything on my burger:"Would you like anything on that sir?"A fiver each way please". Boom Boom!It is Thursday, so you know what that means folks, it is time to look at the weekend’s football fixtures and make a bit of cash by placing a football accumulator… or three.Last weekend wasn’t a great one as it was just one of those days on Saturday where the bets didn’t really get anywhere near coming in. It happens to the best of us, so there is no point reflecting on it too much.Instead, let’s look ahead to what games are taking place this weekend and where the money looks to be. It’s there somewhere, I know it is.

It is back to the domestic leagues this weekend after the FA Cup entertained us all last week. It looks set to be another bumper couple of days across all four English divisions and as ever, there is some money to be won.Last weekend, Sunderland were the only team to let me down in a bet that would have returned over £100, so we will be steering clear of their game this time out.First up, I am going to go for a trusted fourfold to bring in some handy cash. They have done me well in the past and looking at some of the games this weekend, I think it might be the way to go.So, without chatting too much about it – here it is.

New year - new opportunities for bookie bashing! We have had a bit of a Christmas break, but now it is time to get back into the swing of things and start looking at more ways to win some money from the bookmakers with a football accumulator.I ended 2012 on a high with a very handy £55.35 just before Christmas, which I hope you were all able to take advantage of.Now, I am confident of starting the year with another win and this weekend, it is all about the FA Cup. As you know, this compeition is one of the most famous around and when it comes to history – nothing beats it.You are always likely to see a shock or two, so if you can pick the right matches, then there is some big money to be won.

We could all do with a little bit of extra cash over the Christmas period, so placing a football accumulator this weekend seems like a good idea, doesn’t it? Whether you are after that last minute present or simply want a few beer tokens over the festive season, you have come to the right place as I am trying to win some money on Saturday’s football. As I am feeling in the Christmas spirit, I am going to give you three bets for this weekend’s action, so let’s hope that I can pick at least one winner. First up, I am going for a cheeky double. It is two home sides that are very strong on their day, and look to be a cracking bit of value. So here it is.

As you are sure to know by now, Thursday afternoon is the time to look ahead to the weekend’s fixtures and try to make a bit of money with a football accumulator.Last time out I was very close to a winner, with a couple of late goals really costing me. That is the way that football works though I’m afraid and after being let down by teams giving away leads a number of times now, I think a change of strategy is in order for my first bet.So, I am going to do something I have done earlier in the season and that is head into the both teams to score market. It says it all in the title really, if you select a game and the two sides find the net - you win. The more games you have on, the better your odds get – no exactly rocket science and it can provide some very handy cash.

We are creeping up to the weekend again, so it means one thing and one thing only – it is football accumulator time.If I’m honest, last weekend was not a good one for my accumulators and after speaking to a lot of people that had bets on – I was not alone.I did however, tip West Ham United to win and James Collins to score – although Collins didn’t find the net, hopefully a few of you backed the Hammers at good odds.Anyway, enough about last weekend, let’s look ahead instead and see where we can make some money this time out.

Well doesn’t this come round quick – it is weekend accumulator time again. Last weekend was one to forget in the end as my two bets were not really close to coming in.However, that is just the way football betting goes and this time out I will be going back to the drawing board and looking to win some money again. On a Saturday afternoon, what is better to do that place a few bets and watch those results come in? So, let’s do that this weekend and when taking a look at the fixtures – I can see there is some money to be won out there. My four-fold home banker bet’s have often been let down by one team, so what I am going to do this time out is place a three-fold with a slightly higher stake to give me a similar return. Of course, there is no point betting on clear favourites for this one as your profit would simply not be worth it.

There is a lot of European football on offer this evening and Skybet have some nice juicy enhanced accumulators on offer today as well as some perfectly odd selections! No premier league action tonight with two games being played on Tuesday and the rest will be in action on Wednesday night. So where to put your money? The fourfolds and fivefolds all look good value for what they are – higher risk accumulators, and so looking at the trebles the first pick looks to be viable. Essentially you are looking at two home bankers and Sporting Lisbon to win away against Moreirense FC.Lisbon are riding fourth in the Portugese first division and are strong favourites so this is your most likely bet for tonight:

Well here we go again! It is weekend accumulator time – so let’s find some winners as I know they are out there somewhere.Crawley Town were the only team to cost me over £40 last weekend, so they have gone down on my list of teams not to bet on. Maybe one day - I will forgive them. It is fair to say that last Saturday saw a number of surprise results and unless you were backing the big outsiders – it would have been a day where the bookies cleaned up once more.So as we move into another round of fixtures and not much is going to change in the way I go about my betting as I am so close to that winner. It is all about that four home bankers bet to start with this weekend and putting a decent stake on to return some handy cash.So here goes…

I was watching that Ray Winstone bloke when he came up in the break for another bet in play special. This one was a miss but more often than not he has hit the target. Three or four times it has happened now and I think next time he comes on with his "in play" teasers I might have a punt because more often than not they seem to be winning. With the European games about to get into full swing my email box has been filling to the brim with Bookmakers offering sweeteners for the next few nights games and sometimes it can be difficult sorting the wheat from the chaff. This one from Coral caught my eye though. Here we have some added value accumulators for the midweek games which are definitely worth spending a few points on. First of all for tonight we have Benfica, Man United and Shakhtar all to win at 13/2. Not bad, not bad at all. A £10 bet returns £75. For Wednesday night games we have Manchester City, Porto and Arsenal all to win at 4/1....
