Three Winners, Two Draws, Three Losers in our first week. Not a bad start and gives us something to work with and improve uponHere are the results from the first week of the football accumulator system:0-1 Bristol Rovers v Accrington Stanley 21/20 2-2 Port Vale v Northampton Town 21/20 2-0 West Ham v Wigan Athletic 5/4 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town 6/5 2-1 York City v Southend United 6/5 0-1 Annan Athletic v Stirling Albion 6/5 1-2 Elgin City v Berwick 21/20 1-0 Birmingham City v Leeds United 13/10Considering that we let the fixtures pick themselves because we didn't have many games to choose from at the odds we selected - it's really not a bad start. Par for the course is good going and it gives us something to build on.Especially considering the terrible start - I'd barely settled down with a cold beer when I looked at the skysports screen and found two of our picks going down the swanny after two minutes being played so all in all I'm pleased with the first weeks results.

After building out a strategy for compiling football accumulators this is our first test of what the system is going to do for us so it’s guaranteed to be an interesting Soccer Saturday this weekend.Of course I have better things to do than sit around watching Jeff Stelling and his mates fool around like overactive children but what the heck – the other stuff can wait! These are the odds I am using for this accumulator:21/20, 11/10, 6/5, 5/4 and 13/10So let’s have a look through the long list of games and see what we can find.Remember we are looking for eight home wins – draws and away wins are the enemy in this accumulator.

This weekends football accumulator throws up several interesting decisions to be made. If we are to have any chance of dancing with glee in the pub at 5PM Saturday afternoon then we are going to have to work hard for our acca because this Saturdays Premiership fixtures are straightforward picks and it is going to be difficult to extract value for our bet. Here are your games:Everton v Queens Park RangersArsenal v NorwichSouthampton v West HamReading v LiverpoolAston Villa v FulhamFour home wins and an away win for Liverpool? That was my initial reaction when I compiled the fixture list. What does that return?

England, Spain, Republic of Ireland & Israel all to win - £5 returns £111.78This should liven up the evening a bit. Four away teams who are all in form and we have a good chance of a nice return with this fourfold accumulator. After putting eight past San Marino England will be full of beans for the away trip to Montenegro and I fully expect them to win this game. Whatever we might have said about Roy Hodgson when he was at Liverpool - Tactically he is very capable and he is proving what a good manager he is at the top level.San Marino are obviously not top opposition so let's not get carried away with ourselves but you can only beat what is put out in front of you and England did it with aplomb. Those of you who remember Graham Taylor will know that this was potentially a game where a poor performance would have seen the team panned in the press so it is progress of sorts.

A Giant Premier League multi accumulator that will have purists gnashing their teeth. Pure gambling delight. After compiling this weeks Premier League previews it struck me that many of my selections appeared to be, on the face of it, cut and dried.Of course it's all subjective argument but that's the beauty of it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So I thought that rather than bore you with my tales of how to make a double into a triple or even go to the outer reaches of my betting hemisphere with an outlandish fourfold (horror of horrors) I would compile this weekends predictions into an eightfold football accumulator. This is bound to end up with a big return. How big? Read on my betting friend, read on.Here are this Saturdays games - if all goes to plan then we should either be sweating on the outcome of Oldham v Liverpool (live on ESPN) or it could all be over early doors if West Bromwich turn over Chelsea early on.

Only Exeter let me down last weekend, which was annoying as it would have been a decent £52 that I would have made. There is only one thing to do after a disappointing day of football betting tips though, take a look at the next round of fixtures and go again. Let's just avoid Exeter this weekend!First up, I am going to go for a draw double, which has served me well in the past. As you all know by now, a draw always offers good value, even when it is between two evenly matched sides. This time out, I am going for one game in the Premier League and one in the Championship to end in a stalemate. So, here it is:

You can tell that time passes too quickly when you are a sports fan because you can time the year by the events that are coming up to bet on.Six Nations Rugby, then we will soon be into the boat race and Grand National territory and before you know it Wimbledon is upon us and the FA Cup final.Time seems to pass so slowly when you are watching the clock for your next coffee break or it’s time to down tools but when it comes to sports betting time really does fly! This weekend I’ve got a nice accumulator double for you with some applied reasoning for why it’s only a double and the argument why we haven’t added in the third game to try and make a greater profit from the bet.

This weekend was another great weekend for the betting blog as we brought home an accumulator double and just missed out on the treble with Aguero's wonder strike that put a hole in our treble bet.The double though was good enough to bring back £140.00 for our £10 stake. On top of last weeks fourfold accumulator winner which returned £140.65 for the £5 stake I thought this week I would share with you two valuable betting lessons learnt this week.Well actually, one was learnt today, the other was learnt a long time ago and I just decided to ignore the teaching and suffered the consequences.Well you know – a fool and his money and all that.

I don’t know about you, but all this transfer deadline day news is giving me a bit of a headache. So, I have turned the television off and decided to take a look at the weekend’s fixtures. As ever, this can only mean one thing – it is football accumulator time.Everyone usually loves Harry Redknapp at this time of year with his interviews regarding the transfer window, but right now, he is not in my good book as his Queens Park Rangers side cost me a handy £55 on my accumulator last weekend. There is always a potential for shocks in the FA Cup, but I didn’t see that one at the hands of MK Dons coming.Enough about that though, it is now all about looking forward and trying to beat them bookies this weekend.I'm going for a trusty fourfold to kick things off on Saturday afternoon and we are going to go from the Premier League down to League Two.So, here is the first bet for the weekend.

Well here we are again, the weeks are flying by and it is already time to have a look at the weekend’s fixtures and try to beat the bookies with a football accumulator once more.Last weekend, I wasn’t far away from my big bet coming in, but unfortunately a few late equalisers cost me. We are close to another winner though and this time out, it is all about the FA Cup fourth round. As I have said before, there is money to be won in cup competitions, but you MUST take a few risks. The FA Cup is all about history, upsets and the chance for the underdogs to have their time in the limelight.Oh, also, placing an accumulator should be added to that list.Right, the first bet for the weekend is a fourfold and I like the look of this one.So without chatting about it too much – here it is.
