For football fans the International break comes at exactly the wrong time. Just as you start getting used to football being served up regularly along comes an International to bore you to tears and spoil all the fun.
Particularly if you are are a Liverpool or United fan. Getting spanked 3-0 at home by West Ham does not bode well for the rest of the season and following on from the 6-1 thrashing at Stoke and the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace It's starting to look like Brendan Rodgers is walking across thinner and thinner ice.

Last time out we picked the draw and the away win - failing with the two home bankers. Such is accumulator life.
This week we have six 3PM premiership kick offs to choose from so we are spoilt for choice.
Chelsea v Crystal Palace - Home Win
That Pedro fella looks like he can play a bit doesn't he? What a wonderful talent and it shows how strong a side Barcelona are if they can afford to let that sort of player sit on the bench week after week.
Jose Mourinho's pursuit of John Stones shows no sign of abating and that is a sure sign that he thinks he is a player short in defence. John Terry is banned for this game after picking up a red in his last outing.
Crystal Palace have been revitalised under manager Pardew and they have looked impressive recently. It's just a short trip up the road for Palace so need to worry about travel fatigue. I'm tempted to go for the draw but I've settled on a home win at 2/5

Last weeks effort fell well short with only Leicester and Aston Villa making it to the winning column.

Spurs v Stoke - Draw
Both teams lost their opening Premier League fixture - Spurs shooting themselves in the foot with a horrendous own goal and Stoke succumbing to the genius of Phillip Coutinho who unleashed an unstoppable drive from fully thirty yards to snatch the poins in a desperately dull game against Liverpool. Stoke will be very hard to break down and with a lack of options up front for Spurs I see this as an ideal candidate for a draw.

Last week’s fabulous win didn’t make up for the disappointment of missing out in the final seconds of the previous week when Nott’s County managed to sneak a last gasp equaliser in the dying seconds of their game against Rochdale. The 95th Minute to be exact and it was the last goal of the afternoon to go in.
Yes, I know I know I keep banging on about the unjustness of it all but the funny thing is the high emotion of winning comes nowhere near the low emotion of missing out at the very death.
I suppose the only way it will be surpassed is if a last minute winner goes in our favour.
Today we are unable to go for the fourfold home banker as it is Premiership fixtures only but we can still have a bash at getting a return for our fiver by picking four winners.

This week I'm returning to our tried and trusted home banker formula and hoping that none of the outsiders manage to spring an upset. Last week bottom of the Conference table and my home town Telford United managed to cause an upset by gaining their first away win of the season and only their third in total since the season started so we have definitely used up more than our fair share of bad luck.
In fairness to Telford their recent form has belied their lowly table position and a fantastic win in midweek against Conference South pace setters Basingstoke has seen them progress to the second round of the FA Cup and a mouth watering away tie at high fliers Bristol City.

This week I’m going for an eightfold home banker odds-on Acca. This football accumulator has been very close to winning the last few times it has had a run out with only a draw spoiling the party the last time we used it.
Of course this week’s theme has to be the lack of sleep but in all fairness to Raheem Sterling he has really been under the cosh in the last few weeks with Liverpool now also playing European midweek games so a rest was completely in order.
The way Roy Hodgson put his size tens all over the episode though made me realise why we all thought he was a very poor choice for Liverpool manager – and that’s putting it mildly.
