Not so. A six-year contract and a £15 million fee and the player is on his way.

Quite how Liverpool can take a £20 million hit on one player is beyond me. An England international at that.

The fixtures have been announced and straightaway we have a real cracker to look forward to with the home game against Man United. Let’s hope the Suarez issue is resolved soon so that the manager can strengthen his attack and they can start to get some practice games in.
