Hands up all those who don't want to see Tyson Fury get a boxing lesson from David Haye?

Pretty unanimous then. Unlike Muhammad Ali, Fury has no substance to his style, no panache to his pretentiousness.Tyson Fury is a loudmouth who has no grace and it is about time the deficiencies in his boxing style were shown up for what they are.

Tyson Fury is a loudmouth who has no grace and it is about time the deficiencies in his boxing style were shown up for what they are.

In his last fight against the much smaller and ageing Steve Cunningham, Fury was flattened very early on and it was only because Cunningham could not find a big enough punch from his smaller frame that Tyson isn't seeking a matchup with David Price who has lost twice now to Tony Thompson.

Tyson Fury is a big man but his last two opponents have been ageing fighters who have been looking for one last payday or one last shot at redemption. Prior to fighting Kevin Johnson (where he did enough to keep out of the way and deny his opponent space) and Cunningham, Fury does not have enough ring experience to defeat the likes of David Haye.

When he fought Vinny Maddalone for the WBO Intercontinental title it was clear that there was still a lot of work to do on his movement and defence.

Still, a record of 21 fights and no defeats has to be respected and even if you don't like the guy you would have to grudgingly admire his gameness for accepting this fight.

As for David Haye his career has been on the backburner since his defeat to Vladimir Klischko which was over two years ago now and had only one fight in 2012 against Derek Chisora where he won convincingly.

Finding a reason for Haye to accept this fight is pretty easy really as where else can he go?
Haye is still only 32 and so by no means is he past it. In fact for many boxers in their early to mid 30s these are the best years of their boxing careers - being able to match strength and guile with experience.

I expect Haye to turn up in the best condition of his life for this fight and show Tyson Fury that he still has way to progress in the fighting game.

The best odds for a Haye victory are 3 to 10 at Unibet whilst if you think Fury has it in him to show that he is not just full of hot air than most bookies will give you 3 to 1 for your money.
Those odds aren't long enough for me to even consider backing Fury and 3 to 10 is buying money.

Only floor seats available at the time of writing priced £375 - £800.
